National Foundation Day & Armed Forces Day Reception in Canberra

This week, I was invited to the National Foundation Day (개천절) & Armed Forces Day (국군의 날) Reception at the National Museum of Australia, hosted by the 주호주대사관 Korean Embassy in Australia 🇰🇷

The timing coincides with the ongoing APEC 2025 in Gyeongju, and the National Museum of Australia will open Hallyu (한류): The Korean Wave Exhibition in December.

A special evening feature with Korean food, a Hanbok (한복) experience, Korean traditional and K-pop dances, and remarks by Chargé d'Affaires, Mr Jimin Kim. As it was, Korean War veterans and their families also attended—lest we forget.
